Arborstone. It's not that it's hard, it's just so ridiculously annoying with the constant interrupts. And the fact that you have to keep a suicidal NPC alive. Add this to the fact that I used pugs to get through the mission the first few times. No matter how many times I told people to not stand in the areas where alot of rocks fall they always ignored me.
Also, it was still bugged when I was trying to get my first character through there. My horrible pug managed to get to the end, only to have Danika fail to open the door despite all our efforts (which only seemed to make her run further away). And this happened twice. I can't help but remember the frustration that caused whenever I think of the mission.
I also dislike Raisu Palace and Imperial Sanctum - purely because my heroes can't use the celestial skills. So I have to choose between horrible henchies/pugs with the skills and my heroes without them. The heroes work best regardless, but I guess it's the principle of the thing that annoys me.
I used to dislike timed missions but then heroes came along and made it all stupidly easy. In normal mode, at least. I don't like missions in general enough to want to do them in hard mode.

As I'm a very deliberate and thorough player I hate all missions where events are on timer and I cannot complete tasks at my own pace. That includes leeroying NPCs (Nolani Academy, anybody?) various siege scenarios like THK, Eternal Grove or Dzagonur Bastion, and at the pinnacle of atrocity a mission with an explicit timer: Elona Reach. Hey, Uncle Ghostie needs his bathroom break so if you're not back in half an hour don't expect to get back at all. Oh, and it's aggro city out there so watch your step.
Although I have learned to H+H the mission with bonus even in HM, the only way I could hate it more would be if Anet added some random jade scarab spawns on the field ...

I love missions like Raisu Palace or Vizunah Square, pew pew is my way ohh yeah.
Hard to think worst mission nowadays, back in 2005 though - Dunes of Despair. Bonus was quite pita with pugs :]...
I think it was the last bonus that I needed in Prophecies.

Raisu Palance is the 1 where you have to pic npcs to do certain things for you right? I flippin loved that (but im never doing it again =P)
No mission in the game is as bad as Eternal Grove, a year ago I did it on my assassin like 5 times cus henchmen are stupid...had to finally do it with a team -_- those afflicted waves are annoying.
Tried Eternal Grove on Hard Mode yesterday -_- It's not fun.

Mine has to be Sanctum Cay. It's the only mission where you're almost forced to do it twice to get the Mission and Bonus.
It's funny - some of the ones people have listed here are my favorites.
Dunes of Despair - love being attacked on all sides, then having to rush out the gate to do the bonus.
Eternal Grove - Again, love the chaos that can ensue if you don't choke the afflicted on the stairs.
Gate of Madness - you can really tell if you've got a special PuG if everyone is aggroing properly.
By far my three favorite missions.

Mastering some missions is hard for the sake of being hard (Gate of Madness)
Mastering others is impossible without teamwork (Aurora Glade)
All of that is challenging.
But when you can't even finish a mission three Times in a row because the computer AI won't progress (Vizunah Square, Master Togo won't budge) then that deserves a special place in hell and my nomination for worst. mission. ever...

um no clue who said this (on page 2) i took my surviver through there with a mm a month ago it was fine.
Tip: If the surviver has the most health in the group and a 61+ armor theres a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy small chance they will be atacked at all by afflicted or minions during the mission.
Worst missions are the ones that you cant find the bonuses for or when the bonuses walk really slow or when the mission is repetitive and really slow. (almost all tyrian missions)

those area easily my favourite elonian if not guildwars missions, short and fun
both under 10 min (less if you gto a ncie team/prof), and have a ncie bit of enemies

I think this is why some people go on about hating Factions. I really loved playing through it when I was on my Ele, but it's really painful as a Sin because the NPCs follow me into piles of Afflicted and get stuck in afflicted soul explosions etc. I imagine this is the same for other melee clases too.

I'd like to change my opinion from Gates of Madness to Arborstone. Not because Arborstone is particularly hard, but because it's damn annoying. Between Danika Leeroying mobs, then deciding to take a break somewhere and stop following, to the constant interrupts, makes me just wanna tear my hair out until the freakin thing's over and done with. >.<
